About

Ryan is an adventure photographer, videographer, and drone operator specializing in capturing images in challenging conditions and remote locations. From the remote cliffs of St Kilda to El Capitan in Yosemite. 

He has experience as a Director, Producer, DOP, and Camera Operator. Whether working solo on expeditions or as part of a larger team, he readily adapts to ensure delivery to the highest standard possible.

Growing up in the Scottish Highlands, Ryan enjoyed climbing, sea kayaking, mountain biking, and much more. He has a love of the outdoors and being with people who share a common passion.

After graduating with a first-class degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ryan was diagnosed with a form of inflammatory arthritis. He returned to the highlands in pursuit of a career that was true to his values, keeping physically and mentally healthy. 

 

He enjoys the opportunities, experiences, and camaraderie that come with adventure photography. Although competent and efficient on his own,  he thrives in a team dynamic and believes he brings a lot more to a team than the ability to capture what's required.​
